Online classes have begun!

The only way to accomplish a large goal is through small steps. In March of 2022, we began a virtual class with the objectives of testing the virtual education concept in the village and also bringing the kids to a level of basic computer literacy and beginning their introduction to learning the English language.

There were many hurdles to overcome in this small step. A virtual platform had to be built. We had to secure access to fast internet. A computer lab was established. These were successfully accomplished and the class has flourished. The children have excitedly devoted themselves to their education and have shown great improvement in a short time. The desire is to have the children confident in basic computer skills before the start of the 2022-2023 academic year.

There are countless more small steps needing to be taken and we need your help in order to accomplish most of them. The small computer lab at the Ekta Center has proven to us that virtual learning is a possibility for the children of the village. We are now needing to outfit the current school building with utilities, internet, computer technology and more in order to be ready for the start of the 2022-2023 academic year. The children are eager. We are ready. Will you help us take this next step?
